Material:

  • 8-10 bread slices
  • 200 grams paneer (grated)
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 capsicum (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup boiled peas
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder (according to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Salt (according to taste)
  • 2-3 tbsp oil or butter
  • Tomato sauce or green chutney (according to choice)

Making process-

  1. First of all, heat oil in a pan. When the oil is well heated, add ginger-garlic paste and fry it lightly.
  2. Now add finely chopped onion and capsicum. Fry it for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables become a little soft.
  3. Now add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala and salt. Fry the spices for 1 minute.
  4. Now add grated paneer and boiled peas to the pan. Mix them well and let it cook for 2-3 minutes. Your sandwich filling mixture is ready.
  5. Now take bread slices. You can apply tomato sauce on one slice and green chutney on the other.
  6. Now place the prepared paneer mixture in the middle of the bread slices.
  7. Now cook the sandwich on a pan or grill by applying butter on both sides until it becomes golden and crispy.
  8. Serve hot veg paneer sandwich with tomato sauce or mint chutney.

Suggestion:-

  • You can also add vegetables of your choice like carrots or corn.
  • You can also add finely chopped green chillies for a spicy taste.
  • Do not overcook the paneer, else it may become hard.
